Job Description
Senior Project Manager
TEC Partners are working with the biopharmaceutical product development company, a spin-out from the University of Cambridge. The company specialises in instruments for single cell analysis, antibody screening, cell line development, and other areas including synthetic biology and genome editing.
Company's proprietary microfluidics platform was developed to support high-throughput screening of isolated cells in pico-scale, which allows for faster, more effective, and less costly analysis of biological reagents. Besides the screening platforms, the product range also includes bioprinters, specialist chemicals and consumables, microfluidics kits, as well as customised research and development services for individual requirements.
They are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join new product development (NPD) department and oversee the single cell analysis instrumentation and consumable development projects. The ideal candidate would have relevant or closely related background in life sciences, physics, or engineering.
The role can be hybrid type, but is not fully remote.
Requirements:
Degree in life sciences/physics/engineering
Hands-on experience in product development in a related field – instrumentation, biomedical devices, bioassay products
R&D experience in a related area such as microfluidics, biotherapeutics etc would be highly advantageous
Significant project management experience in a similar field is essential – scientific instrumentation, medical devices, bioreagents, etc
