Job Description

The Role: Would you like to work for a growing consultancy that has once again been placed amongst the top 150 consultancies by Building Magazine for the third year in a row? A company that has four offices across the South of England & even one in Europe?

My client, an established, mid-sized Property & Construction Consultancy are looking to build on a strong first half to the year with the latest requirement to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their expanding head office team!

You would be working on projects across all company sectors including High End Residential, Commercial Offices, Retail, Leisure & Mixed-Use.

Flexible/remote working is a fixed part of the company. You would be expected in the office 2-3 days a week.

Office Location: Central London (London Bridge)

Start Date: ASAP

Head Count: 150+

Project Sectors: High End Residential, Commercial Offices, Retail, Leisure & Mixed-Use

Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Previous five years’ experience working for UK based property & construction consultancy

*

Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level in Quantity Surveying or a related field

*

Membership of a chartered institute (or working towards) in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB)

*

Track record of successful project budgetary management cost reporting and cost control through the project lifecycle on projects of varying sizes and complexity

*

In-depth knowledge of construction contract management including standard forms of contract and procurement options

*

Excellent communication skills
