Senior Structural Engineer (Building Structures)
Salary up to £38,000
Haverfordwest/ Carmarthen
I am delighted to be supporting an established, engineering consultancy, having a number of offices, who are on the lookout for an experienced Senior/ Principal level Structural engineer to join their Building Structures team on a permanent basis (although they would also consider contractors).
I am looking to speak with design led engineers, who are experienced with running projects from start right through to finish, but also very passionate about engineering and still wanting to get fully involved with the design side of things.

The role will be based from Haverfordwest or Carmarthen, depending on location.
Key experience & attributes for this Senior Structural Engineer role:
MEng or BEng in civil or structural engineering and possess Chartered membership/ Associate membership of the IStructE/ ICE (or working towards Chartership)
Significant experience in onshore building structures design with proven job running capabilities.
Self-motivated team player with good people skills.
Strong communication, analysis, technical design and drawing skills.
Experience using analysis and design software packages.
Ability to design through hand calculations.
Developing marketing/ business development skills.
Someone ambitious, who really believes in the company values and wishes to be part of their success.
As well as delivering projects from concept through to completion, you will also be:
Attending client, design and site meetings.
Managing and developing engineers and technicians.
Liaising with statutory authorities, architects, the design team and contractors.
Preparing fee proposals and having major input into project bids.
