Senior Technician/Mechanic
Motorfix Auto Centre is an independent professional garage that has built up an excellent reputation for customer service and quality of work. We are AA Certified and a Which Trusted Trader.
To help us drive the business forward we are looking for a professional, experienced and competent Master Tech or equivalent skill set, who is capable of taking the lead in our busy workshop in Highbridge, Somerset.
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent, is required, with no more than 6 points on your full driving licence. We are looking for someone who has their own tools, is enthusiastic, motivated, clean and tidy, polite, punctual, able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, with the right to live and work in the UK.
Full diagnostics knowledge is essential and you must be able to perform a wide range of duties, including repairing vehicles to a high standard, MoT preparation, brakes, suspension, servicing, clutch, cambelts, engine repairs, aircon', etc.
If you are an MoT Tester that would be an advantage, but not essential. There will be the opportunity to attend training to further enhance your skill set.
* Working Monday – Friday and just two Saturday mornings per month for which you are paid extra, your salary is fully negotiable.
