£35,000 – £40,000 per annum

We currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our clients successful and expanding team on a permanent basis in Newcastle.
You will be responsible for supporting the development of the delivery of HSE throughout the operations, along with implementing processes and procedures to client standards and objectives.
Our client is a major provider of utility contracting services within the private and public sector.
Due to project pipeline and business growth within the infrastructure and telecommunications sector this is a great time to join their team. You will have your say in their development and continued growth along with the opportunity to progress your career.
Ideally you will have experience in the Telecommunications sector, hold a NEBOSH General Certificate along with a supporting environmental qualification.
The Role
* Carry out health and safety audits, risk assessments, site inspections and accident investigations.
* Undertake follow up actions where necessary and following this to close out stages.
* Ensuring all risks with equipment and substances are recorded.
* Manage and coordinate a SHE Committee for Region.
* Collate reports weekly and monthly and hold weekly / monthly review meetings.
* Develop and deliver training sessions to drive forward Health, Safety and the Environment.
You will be provided with a company van to travel to sites for assessments and investigations and only be required to work standard Monday to Friday hours.
