Job Description
I am currently recruiting for a Spares Fulfilment Coordinator / Buyer to work for a leading manufacturing business based in Chertsey on fulltime permanent basis.
Job Title – Spares Fulfilment Coordinator / Buyer
Location – Chertsey, Surrey
Type – Permanent full-time contract
Responsibilities:
Delivering commercial quotations / bid / tender response with respect to spare parts supply
Ensuring all spare parts sales are quoted in accordance with contractual requirements and/or annually agreed margin.
Raising part demands (for processing by the company Purchasing Team or the Spares Fulfilment Coordinator in response to the specific demand
Administering and expediting spare part demands
Ensuring appropriate parts labelling and arranging dispatch / delivery of spare parts both from SAP and physically
Swiftly resolving delivery issues and customer spares parts rejection
Assisting Accounts department with customer payment issues
Maintaining expert knowledge of the terms of any applicable contract or supply agreement and customer specific pricing
Providing an excellent service to internal and external customers on a daily basis and in a timely manner
Ensuring all customers' needs and requirements for parts are met and having the foresight to see additional sales opportunities
Monitoring stock and providing recommendations to the Spares Fulfilment Manager for the range and scale of spares holding of fast-moving items
Creating and maintaining spares fulfilment process and procedure
Addressing bulk spares pricing requirements in association with the Spares Fulfilment Manager and Support Services Development Manager
Monthly reporting to the Spares Fulfilment Manager
Key Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in a similar Supply Chain, Procurement or Spares Fulfilment role
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business will be essential as being a team player
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools
Experienced in MRP/ERP, ideally SAP but not essential
