Protocol Education are working with a school in Enfield who are looking for a special needs teaching assistant to support a child in a year 5 class with challenging and complex needs. The school is situated not far from the A406, bus stops and a train station. It is rated an OFSTED outstanding, with passionate and friendly staff, a potential candidate will be part of a hard-working and supportive team.
What is the school looking for?
A consistent individual, who will work full time for a year and has potential to carry on after July 2023.
Good attendance and punctuality.
A passionate individual who has strong knowledge about special educational needs e.g., ASD.
A 2 or above in a Speech and Language (SaLT), Psychology, or related degree
Recording and reporting a pupil’s progress to the Teacher.
Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children.
Helping pupils stay focused during class hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
