Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Sprinkler Design Engineer based in Milton Keynes for a growing MEP building services company.
Summary of the Sprinkler Design Engineer role…
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes, Hybrid working, approximately in the office 1 day a week.
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 08:30 – 5:30, Monday – Friday
The role…
As the Sprinkler Design Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:
Deliver projects from inception to completion on large-scale leisure, commercial, retail and industrial sprinkler systems.
Design fire sprinkler rules such as FM, NFOA, BS EN 12845, BS5306 part 2.
Service, maintenance, fault find and repair Sprinkler Systems.
The experience required…
As a successful Sprinkler Design Engineer you will have the following:
Competent in specification writing, design/drawing for all building types.
2 – 7 years experience in UK building services design for all building types.
Previous experience in design software including Amtech, Cymap, AutoCAD and Revit
Thorough understanding and experience of working to current British and industry standards
Previous experience leading projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
