Static Commercial Electrician £39k & Overtime
Acton, West London
My client is a London-based SME delivering mechanical and electrical services for both the public and private sector. They provide a variety of services from one off installations and servicing, to capital investment schemes and planned preventative maintenance . They are now looking to expand their team by hiring a Commercial Electrician on a prestigious site in Acton
Key Responsibilities
This vacancy is for an electrical engineer to assist in covering reactive maintenance and planned work in Commercial sites around London and the Home Counties.
Ideally all candidates should have undertaken an electrical apprenticeship. You must be able to manage each case to completion and have a lot of common sense.
ESSENTIAL – SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years industry experience
Previous Commercial and Install/Maintenance experience
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Ideally you will have gained your experience through an apprenticeship
2391 Test and Inspection would be ideal but not essential
Experience of working within the domestic and commercial maintenance fields
Effective problem solving & organisational skills
Able to work well as part of a team
Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills & telephone manner
Organisational and time keeping skills
Ability to evaluate Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Experienced at fault-finding
A full clean driving licence ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 /AM1 /AM2 (or equivalent qualifications)
18th Edition
2360 Electrical Installations NVQ Level 2 or 3 or Electrical apprenticeship.
