Job Description
Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be working with our established client in Chippenham who are actively recruiting for a Stock Controller to join the team on a permanent basis.
As a stock controller you will be responsible for all materials movements on and off of the site, loading and unloading of vehicles and maintaining organisation of stores and adding stock on to the system.
Key Duties:
* Unloading and booking in of all goods in that are delivered.
* Maintaining organisation of stores, ensuring stock rotation and carrying out stock takes on a daily and weekly basis.
* Carrying out stock checks on finished goods.
* Recording all stock movements on the system to ensure an accurate record of materials is maintained for the business.
* Engage in the forecast of supply and demand and ensure stock levels meet production requirements.
* Issuing packaging and materials to production lines in line with daily production plans.
* Placing orders on the system and ensuring goods are delivered on time.
* Build relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Work with supply chain managers and assist with covering with holiday / annual leave.
As a stock controller you will have previous experience within a similar role and ideally have some production experience.
This role is working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00 – 15:30 but start / finish times can vary in line with production requirements.
Salary for the role is starting at £24,000 with an increase after successful probationary period to £26,000 per annum.
