Job Type: Temporary to permanent
Job Title: Stock Controller
Location: Worcester (near six-fields stadium)
Salary: £21,000-£23,000
Working hours: 40 per week
Other: A driver is desirable due to lack of public transport nearbyWe are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the largest highway maintenance organisation's in the country, in search of a diligent and capable Stock Controller. As a stock controller you will be tasked with tracking orders, overseeing inventory audits and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing. You will take receipt of deliveries, manage stock levels including the updating of internal systems and assist with the completion of monthly stock takes and provide parts to vehicle fitters.
Responsibilities:
Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
Updating inventory management systems regularly
Updating job cards
Gaining authorisation for repairs from the client
Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it
Stock levels are accurate recorded and maintained
All costs are accurately recorded
Adherence to Health & Safety processesCriteria:
Previous experience in a stock controller environment is desirable
Financial driven, to save costs – numerate and analytical
Self motivation
Excellent administration skills

Positive professional attitude
MS Office (word, excel) – IT literate
Competitive approach
