Job Description

Based in St Albans, we have a huge variety of schools in the local and surrounding areas and are always looking for supply staff to work with us on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

As a professional Supply teacher, instructor or cover supervisor you will need
* Superb communication skills
* Great numeracy and literacy
* Classroom experience – Ideally in the UK
* A positive mindset & professional approach
* Good behaviour management
* A clear understanding of the national curriculum
* The ability to adapt and improvise
* Excellent classroom practice to motivate and enable learning in pupils of all abilities and needs
We are especially keen to speak with staff who can offer
PE – MFL – Maths, English or Science – Business Studies – Technology (especially RM, DT, Graphics)
Who we'd like to hear from
ECT's or NQT's looking to build school experience (this is a great way to find a placement without all the application forms and pressure of an interview)
Full time Teachers not currently in permanent posts, we will find you a job through our supply contacts in the right school for you
Part time teachers looking to supplement their income
Instructors, cover supervisors or Graduates with education experience
Sports coaches or behaviour mentors able to support other subjects / classes around your speciality
Supply teachers from other agencies looking to ensure you've regular work on your days without work
The successful candidates must:
Hold QTS or equivalent qualification or experience
Have an ability to form positive relationships with children
Hold or apply for an Enhanced DBS Check
Have a creative and flexible approach to teaching
Be able to provide a 10 year working history
Have excellent behaviour management
Have recent references to support your work in education
