Job Description
Axcis are currently working with a vibrant secondary school in Taunton, who is looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young people.
Job details:
• Working with secondary age pupils
• Supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH and challenging behaviour
• Working on a small group basis assisting with literacy and numeracy sessions
• Full time (8:15am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday)
Requirements
• Behaviour management experience – Desirable
• Experience of working with pupils with differing SEND needs – Essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential
• Minimum of 2 good references – Essential
