Test Engineer
Location – Fareham
Type: Permanent
Working Hours – Monday – Friday
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Test Engineer to join a global organisation working within the Robotics industry.
As a Test Engineer you will manage and execute the full lifecycle of test engineering from definition of test cases through development of test tools to the execution of testing and management of facilities.

Key Responsibilities as a Test Engineer:
Using conformance specifications to derive test requirements
Planning, designing and communicating test cases for a broad range of electro-mechanical systems. Looking at both the development and production lifecycle phases.
Designing test jigs, harnesses and software to execute the test cases.
Managing internal test facilities including: Test tanks, ovens, pools, lifting equipment
Liaising with external test houses when required for EMC, Vibration, Pools etc.
Fault finding and failure analysis
Documenting and presenting results and findings. Skills/Knowledge Required as a Test Engineer:
HNC/NVQ/Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
3 years or more within a test focussed position
Proven experience working with multi-disciplinary systems (Electrical, Mechanical, Software)
Knowledge of industry standards/product certification
Offshore/Subsea experience (Desirable)
