Job Description
Join the team at The Dean Neurological Centre in Gloucester as a Ward Clerk and enjoy a career where you will feel valued and supported in your job.
Working 22.5 hours a week, you will provide day-to-day clinical and ward administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. This includes updating Service User information, managing the ward diary, supplying clinical forms and minute taking.
You will be responsible for maintaining Service User files and notes, including the filing, scanning, and archiving of patient information.
The Dean Neurological Centre is a 60-bed facility on the outskirts of the town within easy commute from Gloucester, Cheltenham and surrounding areas. The Centre delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people living with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise functional ability and independent living.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience within a similar role and/or environment
Knowledge of healthcare terminology
GCSE English, C or above
Good working knowledge of MS Office
