Job Description
WHS OP CHORLEY – DAY SHIFT – ONGOING WORK – £9.50PH – PAID BREAKS, ONSITE PARKING – APPLY TODAY START AS SOON AS TOMORROW
Our Client in the Chorley Area is looking for a General Warehouse Operative to work in a fast paced warehouse environment.
Main duties include;
* Loading & unloading products (can be quite heavy)
* Assisting with deliveries, moving stock (sometimes with FLT – in house training provided if no licence)
* General labelling and re-work
* Working at a fast pace
Shift times are daytime from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday – 45 hours paid – any additional hours paid at x1.5 £14.25ph for overtime
Pay Rate: £9.50
The ideal candidate will have a driving licence as may need to travel between sites in company vehicle and potential to be trained and upskilled to HGV roles.
Forklift truck licence is desirable but not essential as in house training can be provided for this.
The company is growing and looking to employ permanent staff, so this job may be temp to perm for the right person. The company is happy to upskill staff to further enhance their skillset.
