Job Description
MIG Welder, £13.00 per hour + overtime when busy, Finedon Road Industrial Estate Wellingborough, M – Th 07:00 – 16:00 Fri 07:00 – 13:00 Temp to Perm Opportunity available for the right person. Applications will only be considered from experienced welders.
Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MIG Welder to join a very established business within Wellingborough. As a MIG Welder the role will assist in the full production process of building steel chassis made to support static caravans and luxury lodge and park homes involving the following.
Gathering steel that is required to build the chassis
marking out the steel
General MIG Welding on jigs
Working on special builds for specific projects
Working on both Assembly & Pre-Assembly
Heavy Lifting will be requiredWe would expect the successful welder to have completed a City & Guilds Welding qualification up to level 2 and have previously worked as a MIG Welder. You will be self motivated and be able to work on your own and as part of a team. You have to be able to read drawings and weld to instructions. If you have an FLT licence this would be advantageous but not essential to apply for this role.
