Workshop Mechanic / Engineer
Location: Strood – Rochester
£43,000 – £50,000 + Overtime
Rota: Monday – Friday – DAYS
My client, a large plant engineering company, is looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanic / Technician / Engineer to join their fitter team, to train to be able to service, maintain and repair plant machinery and commercial vehicles.
The main responsibilities of the Mechanic / Technician / Engineer will include;
Routine maintenance of plant machinery – excavators, rollers, dumpers, telehandlers, generators etc.
Repairs as necessary to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose
Fault Finding
Inspections
The client is prepared to offer the Mechanic / Technician / Engineer ;

The successful Mechanic / Technician / Engineer will have;
A professionally recognised qualification in Engineering / Plant / HGV maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
