Job Description

Customer Service Executive | Hereford | 8-hour shifts| Monday-Friday | up to £24,000 + commission scheme

Our client is a team of specialists who are a single trusted source for a broad range of services and products, to help their customers run their businesses more efficiently. They offer a range of 16 sectors including stationery, PPE, furniture, bespoke print, corporate gifts, catering, janitorial, and technology.

They pride themselves on excellent service and are looking for a candidate that holds similar values. The company now have 20 strategically placed regional branches delivering thousands of orders nationally every business day.

You will be punctual, organised, and able to multitask and prioritise work. You should also be able to use your own initiative as well as work in a team and have an excellent telephone manner and also be proficient with Microsoft Office

The role is in a busy office and includes duties such as building relationships with customers, promoting our product portfolio, answering the telephone, and dealing with orders, queries, quotes and product information. The role also involves product sourcing, informing customers of back orders and resolving discrepancies with orders. You would also be able to provide internal administrative support for the sales team.

What will your role as a Customer Service Executive look like?

Implementing and maintaining minimum standards across all contact with customers
Ensuring operational SLA & compliance is in line with group operating rhythm
Minimise cost to serve while maintaining minimum service levels
Commit to a culture of continuous improvement
Identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and systems
To support Management in delivering process and system improvements and efficiencies
You will work in a “buddy system” with the Salesperson
You will have an excellent rapport with clients, ensuring a long-standing relationship it built
