SENIOR HEAD CHEF – HOTEL – PART OF A FAST-GROWING GROUP – OPPORTNITIES FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT – UP TO £45,000 + BENEFITS

We are currently working with one of the UK's fastest growing pub groups, led by highly experienced industry leaders and strong financial backing, aiming to become one of the UK's most dynamic pub groups in the sector.
They have pub venues situated across the UK with further expansion planned. The venues range in style and offer, ranging from wet-led high street to premium destination pubs, as well as several boutique hotels and Inns.
This venue based near Ashford in Kent is a 30-bedroom property with function suites, a restaurant, bar and a large external area. It is well situated close to the town and is able to cater for a range of functions, events and weddings.
Head Chef Opportunity
The company is looking to recruit a senior Head Chef to lead the development of this venue and also provide support and guidance to other properties in the area, you will:
* Be an experienced Head Chef, experienced in dealing with function and events
* Can manage a team of circa 12 chefs, able to drain and develop team members
* Build long-term succession plans, educating and training team members across other sites
* Implement company policies and procedures
* Liaise with guests, building rapport and understanding their needs and dietary requirements
Working closely with the General Manager and Area Manager, you will help to develop and evolve the brand and reputation of the business, both at the venue and help local sites develop. You will:
* Have strong communication skills
* Be very well organised and able to implement structure
* Have a good understanding of costings and budgets
* Have previous Head Chef experience from a similar style venue
There is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing group at this early stage and help define the strategy and food offering within the venue. They are offering a starting package at circa £45,000.
