1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer, Service Desk, Windows
We have an excellent opportunity for a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer / Service Desk Analyst to join a thriving scientific company based in Edinburgh. Once fully-trained, you will be able to work from home 2 days per week.
The Role
The 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer / Service Desk Analyst will provide support to an excellent standard to the company’s user base and will get the opportunity to work across a wide range of hardware and software, troubleshooting issues across all types of devices.

What’s Required?
Whilst enthusiasm and the ability to provide a highly personable service are key, it is hoped that the successful 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer’s technical experience and abilities will include:
Prior experience in a similar role within a Windows (7 > 10) environment
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and ideally Active Directory
An understanding of networking fundamentals
Experience of IT ticket systems would be helpful
