Job Description

Our client who is a leading provider of simulation, machine learning, and high-performance computing solutions worldwide, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join a team responsible for managing existing business and developing new revenue streams.

Account Manager – circa £65-£80k p.a. +100% variable earnings + car allowance + Strong benefits package

Position Description:
You will be able to deal with all levels of customers, from Chief Executive to Engineer and be able to develop strong relationships as a result. You will be dynamic and hard-working with a will to win. The unique simulation-driven approach to innovation is powered by our client's integrated suite of software which optimizes design performance across multiple disciplines encompassing structures, motion, fluids, thermal management, electromagnetics, system modeling and embedded systems, while also providing data analytics and true-to-life visualization and rendering. The opportunity to grow existing accounts by leveraging the client's technology portfolio is significant.

Performance Areas
– Performs sales activities for the assigned territory
– Position requires a seasoned sales professional with a minimum of 5-years sales success within the digital design sector.
– The successful candidate must gain executive level sponsorship, purchase commitment and manage the ongoing business relationship with the customer.
– Develop and maintain account plans with a key focus to formulate strategies for building and growing the named strategic accounts,
– Remains knowledgeable and keeps abreast of the client's new and existing products/services. Working as part of a wider team, supporting group initiatives and strategic plans.

What You Will Need:
– Minimum bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or bachelor's degree with technical sales experience.
– Minimum 5 years direct sales experience, with at least 2 years as a senior account manager, with a proven track record of success.
– Demonstrated experience of PLM / engineering simulation space.
– Excellent communication (including at executive level), organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across globally diverse accounts.
– UK Driving license
