Job Description

About the job
* In charge of a portfolio of clients in the hospitality sector, supported by team members in various locations.
* Translate raw data into meaningful analytics, provide insight and advice for clients with varying levels of financial literacy.
* Regular client communication, providing accurate reporting data, implementing solutions to improve profitability and efficiency as needed.
* Take ownership of accounting functions, ensure that all books are properly maintained and internal controls are in place to establish accurate and effective financial reporting.
* Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations (bank reconciliation, inter-company reconciliation, resolving discrepancies in various accounts as necessary).
* Advise clients on the best plan of action during periods of limited cash flow.
* Liaise with accountant to finalise year-end reporting or tax returns on behalf of clients.
* Recognise and utilise different communication forms for your clients and colleagues, enabling the best working relationships.
* Ensure all deliverables are on time and in accordance with agreed SLAs. The deliverables include monthly accounts, audit packs and other reports relevant to the client.
* Advise clients on the data within the management accounts, educating the client with how to use the information to drive decisions and strategies.
* Communicate in a variety of forms regularly with our clients to ensure we are adding value the customer/client relationship.
* Prepare forecasts and budgets for clients within agreed SLA’s.
* Review and maintain weekly aged debtors report, ensuring overdue balances are followed up.
* Review and maintain weekly aged creditors report ensuring overdue balances are flagged to the management. Process weekly/monthly payment runs per agreed payment terms.
* Co-ordinate effective information transition between our back-office and clients.
* Be aware and achieve all reporting deadlines e.g. VAT returns, PAYE payments etc.
* Perform ad-hoc cost analysis requested by senior managers.
* Identify and analyse trends and key performance indicators to add value to the client relationship.
Skills Required:
* Desire to deliver top class customer service
* Self-motivated
* Confident in manipulating large amounts of data
* Solid track record of building and maintaining good client relationships
* Prior experience of Restaurant/Hotel industry preferred
* Ability to work remotely whilst building good working relationships with colleagues around the world
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Focus on meeting deadlines
* Exceptional Excel skills
