The Opportunity?
We are seeking a mechanically experienced and electrically competent individual to join us as a Refurbishment Technician at our Distribution Centre in Dinnington. You will play an integral part in our business, responsible for building, stripping, preparing, cleaning, repairing, and refurbishing our range of parts cleaning machines. Job Responsibilities for our Refurbishment Technician
Stripping, preparing, cleaning, and refurbishing our range of parts cleaning machines
Repairing and refurbishing machinery as directed
Reporting patterns of breakdown, unsafe practices, and machine defects via Parsable and management, whilst suggesting potential areas of improvement of equipment working practices
Assembling a range of our new machines
Ensuring all tools, equipment and the plant are maintained in good order
Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly targets are achieved, and escalate if there is risk to meeting these targets.
Skills/experience required
Mechanical background is essential
Worked in a manufacturing or repair environment
Electrically competent in PAT testing & fault finding
Familiarity of 3-phase industrial machinery is advantageous
Previous experience in a shot blasting/ powder coating role is desirable
Familiarity with mechanical and various fasteners/fixings
Industrial experience with some experience in a technical environment is desirable
Reasonable technical skill, ability to read build drawings or an understanding of basic schematics
