Job Description
If you are a qualified Art & Design Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity, we are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is an enthusiastic, innovative and engaging teacher of Art and Design Technology to join a dynamic and experienced faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a blend of Level 2 and 3 Art and Design, GCSE Design and Technology (Textiles specialist) and KS3 Textiles. You will be joining a team which is built on mutual support with a Head of Department, two experienced co teachers, two full time technicians and a dedicated Design and Technology teaching assistant. As well as your own specialist classroom, the Technology department also has a dedicated computer suite with laser cutting, laser engraving and 3D printing CAM facilities.
The ideal candidate for us would have a passion for their subject, advanced practical and theoretical knowledge, and experience in the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated Good School, amongst a strong team of existing teachers and senior leaders. The school are looking for someone to work with them full time, and someone who is also open to picking up some general cover lessons.
We are looking for:
A passionate Teacher of Art & Design Technology (QTS or ECT status)
Produce quality lessons and encourage participation
Experience working with KS3 & KS4 students
Ability to push students to achieve the best resultsThe School offers:
