FINTEC recruit is excited to share this opportunity of Assistant Accountant for our accountancy practice client with offices based in Dundee, Perth, Crieff, Forfar, Montrose or Brechin. This is a full-time hybrid role working from home and visiting our client's offices a couple of days during the week. Our client has offices in Dundee, Perth, Crieff, Forfar, Montrose, Brechin and the role can be based in any of these office locations. Working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, flexible hours available. Accountancy practice experience essential
Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant include:
Analysing client records.
Ensure all accounting adjustments are recorded to produce financial accounts and tax returns.
Reconciling all control accounts.
Preparing business tax computation and or/return and personal tax computation and/or return for business owners.
Highlighting any transactions for review where the correct treatment is unclear considering tax implications.Essential skills and experience required for the Assistant Accountant role:
Degree/college level accounting qualification and/or on the job experience.
Experience working in a similar type of role with an accountancy practice.
Experience using systems such as QuickBooks Online, Freeagent, Sage, Xero.
