Job Description
Assistant BIM Manager required for my client who are an Engineering Consultancy based in their offices in Northamptonshire. The Assistant BIM Manager will be working confident in completing detailed road and drainage designs on new build and refurbishment projects.
The Assistant BIM Manager will have experience of working as a BIM Technician, BIM Designer, Revit Technician, Assistant BIM Manager, BIM Coordinator, Design Co-ordinator, Engineer, Structural engineer or Structural Technician.
The Assistant BIM Manager will be working on a range of Civil and Structural Engineering projects such as bridges, Highways, Drainage Infrastructure, Industrial, Commercial, Education, Health, Residential, Leisure and Retail Sectors. The company are also involved in production of Digital Building Manuals, which seamlessly link 3D asset information (models) to conventional building manuals using a cloud based platform.
Assistant BIM Manager Position Overview
Producing accurate, detailed models for various projects
Understanding and applying CDM to projects
Developing the necessary strategic documentation to establish the required working methodologies to facilitate the capture
Developing the necessary workflows and establishing the required toolsets to capture and deliver the required geometric information
Strategic asset management plan and the wider programme master plan
Supporting the project BIM manager and the wider team with the emerging technologies and processes in the digital arena
Assisting with new product expansions
Inputting relevant information through new cutting-edge software
Assistant BIM Manager Position Requirements
A minimum of HNC in a relevant engineering discipline
4+ years Revit experience within Structures
Examples of previous projects within the construction environment
Understanding of ISO19650
Able to provide and demonstrate excellent communications skills
Project Management Skills
Experience of varied projects
