Job Description

Role – Assistant Building Surveyor   
Salary- £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type- Permanent
Location- Surrey

My Client are seeking a forward-thinking Assistant Building Surveyor on a permanent basis in Surrey, to join their close-knit, yet expanding team. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a growing and successful practice, with well-established links to many Clients, that has been developed over the last ten years.

The Assistant Building Surveyor will ideally have the following attributes:

MSc/BSc in Building Surveying or another Engineering related subject
3-5 years’ experience in the industry
Previous experience in Building Services, Construction, Civil or Structural Engineering and Design
Wealth of construction and engineering knowledge
Proficient in using AutoCAD software
Hold a RICS Accredited Degree in Building Surveying ideallyThe Assistant Building Surveyor role will involve:

Working closely and flexibly with other staff in delivering a high quality maintenance service to our external and internal customers
Providing regular and professional communication and liaison with customers and key stakeholders in relation to works instructed and managed by the service
Carrying out pre-inspections and building surveys to identify defects, including the preparation of detailed reports, specifications, and cost estimates where necessary
