Job Description
Position – Transport Planner (Some previous relevant experience)
My client is seeking a keen and knowledgeable Transport Planner to join their small team, based in Bristol
You would be expected to carry out all duties normally associated with employment in this position, in particular the preparation of technical documents (Technical Notes on Access, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans), site visits, some experience of transport modelling particularly with JUNCTIONS9 would be beneficial.
You will also be expected to carry out basic drawing work using AutoCAD, such as preliminary junction design, visibility splays and swept path analysis. In addition you may be required to carry out such alternative or additional duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require. This is a small company and all staff are expected to be flexible with regard to the work required of them.
Annual leave entitlement – 25 days pro-rata (plus statutory holidays)
Probationary period – 6 months
Salary – £26,000-£30,000 depending on experience and relevant qualifications such as MSc
