Job Description
Hybrid role – 2 days a week in the office 3 days from home
My client is a leading telco provider with a large and fast growing private network across the UK. They are expanding rapidly and as part of that growth are looking to build a new team to sit between sales and marketing.
The marketing team currently generates hundreds of leads per month and the sales team often does not have time to follow up on these.
The new telesales team will be responsible for initial contact on the leads, qualifying them and following up. You will close small deals and pass across to the field sales team larger deals.
This business is excellent for progression and has already mapped a career plan for growth into the field sales team.
You will:
Start conversations with potential customers and qualify leads
Use both warm leads and cold data to create call lists
Make a high level of outbound calls per day
Close new business or work with the sales team to attend customer meetings
You will have experience of:
Track record of outbound sales in the IT/Telco sector
History of achieving sales targets
