Job Title: Carpenter & Woodwork Factory Manager (Ref: 20819)

Salary: £28-35k/annum

The Role
One of the UK's fastest growing and best Fitness Equipment companies is looking for a hard-working carpenter / joiner / machinist with excellent carpentry skills who can work with minimal supervision to produce specialised Fitness Equipment and Flooring structures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage a small factory/warehouse in the manufacture of wood and rubber fitness equipment and flooring systems.
Be responsible for the stock handling within the factory.
Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, rubber and other materials.
To produce skilled carpentry goods from a job card to the finish product.
Leading and supervising a small team for on-site installations.
Travel to customer sites for installations will be required and length of time will be dependent on job size.
The Candidate
At least 5 years' experience in finish and rough carpentry
Extensive knowledge of power tools, including table saw, skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw
Qualified to drive a forklift
Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver projects on time
Willingness to travel throughout the UK and abroad for site installations
Knowledge in fitness equipment and high impact flooring
*Overtime:
When doing onsite installations any overtime outside the working hours of 7.30am – 16.30pm is paid as prorated salary. Occasional overnight stays will be required when doing installations nationwide; all overtime is paid as prorated salary plus £50 per day plus hotel and breakfast paid for
