Job Description
Assistant Chef in a School Starting ASAP – Must have a Driving License and a Car!
Temporary on-going Chefs -needed in Newham to work for an amazing Secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity for ongoing temporary chef work, the school are looking for someone who is experienced in working either as a chef or a chef in a Secondary school. They need someone to give them an extra pair of hands and ensure the smooth running of the school lunch service.
Essentials:
Previous Catering experience as a Chef preferably within a School, high volume restaurants or contract catering environment (min 3 years working experience)
Confident working in a busy kitchen
Experience in producing food of a high quality
Your own Uniform and safety shoes
A current level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen certificate
Valid right to work in the UK
Access to your own transport/ willing to use public transportEnhanced DBS is required, but we can pay for it if you need one so apply!
The ideal candidate will –
Be flexible with working hours
Be willing and able to travel within London
Be self-motivated
Have a valid Enhanced DBS Check (Required for schools, nurseries & Care homes)
Have Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate Level 2
Have previous work experience in a similar role
