Chief Engineer of Aircraft Navigation Systems – China.
Our Aerospace Client based in China, is looking to appoint a Chief Engineer for their Aircraft Navigation Systems Products. The Successful candidate will have considerable experience and knowledge working with Navigation Systems Architecture on HW , SW and Avionics. Candidates must be prepared to live and work in China for several years, working with the companies local engineers increasing knowledge and capability.
Job description:
Responsible for coordinating and confirming host requirements, recommending navigation system technology and product solutions to the host; cooperating with the host development process and providing full technical support. Carry out overall system architecture design, functional design, requirement decomposition, security analysis and evaluation, etc. according to customer needs; organize design, verification and other work in accordance with ARP4754, ARP4761 and other relevant standards and guidelines, and provide product life cycle technical support.
Ability Requirements:
Graduated with a master's degree or above, with more than 10 years of inertial system development experience and more than 5 years of civil aircraft product development experience; 3 years of system supervisor work practice is preferred.
Master the safety, reliability, testability requirements and design criteria of safety-critical systems.
Familiar with ARP74754, ARP4761, DO-254 and DO-178B and the process method of system engineering.
Familiar with the airworthiness characteristics and process requirements of civil aircraft products.
Have a good sense of teamwork, strong communication and coordination skills.
Able to read projects and professional English materials proficiently.
