Job Description
Join the multi-disciplinary team at CAMHS Rhodes Wood Hospital as a Clinical Services Manager (CSM) to manage a highly-skilled workforce across different professional disciplines. As part of the leadership team, you will monitor and develop effective clinical interventions and treatments which will enhance the delivery of clinical services in line with current best practice.
Reporting directly to the Hospital Director, you will be accountable for the day-to-day operational delivery and quality performance of the clinical service at CAMHS Rhodes Wood Hospital.
The CSM is accountable for the day to day operational delivery and quality performance of the clinical service at Rhodes Wood Hospital. You will liaise with clinical, non-clinical staff and other partner stakeholders in order to deliver a service aligned to an outstanding outcome within the CQC regulatory agenda and meet other all other regulatory requirements.
In the absence of the Hospital Director, the CSM will deputise, working hand in hand with other key SMT colleagues including Head of Therapies, Medical Director and Support Services Manager to ensure that the hospital is adequately provisioned for excellent care and treatment for our young people. This senior team will ensure that communication is optimum and that as a unified circle, role model partnership working and collaborative approaches to all aspects of individual roles and responsibilities.
The CSM will adopt Elysium's core values and embed these in all areas of their responsibility and decision making within their role. This is a key part of being a senior manager within Rhodes Wood Hospital
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Good flexibility and weekend/ Bank holiday availability
Participation in the on-call rota for the service
Undertaken the physical training requirements for the role including Manual Handling and restraint
Excellent written and verbal communication – ability to formulate articulate reports
Evidence of successfully leading a team
Computer literacy
Understanding of own clinical limitations

Positive engagement and promotion of teamworkYour key responsibilities will be:
Supporting and contributing to the maintenance of the business relationships liaising with referrers and prospective purchasers.
Promoting an effective working relationship across the multidisciplinary teams.
Contributes to the development of Elysium policies, procedures, processes and initiatives.
Ensuring clinical services comply with statutory regulations and current legislation meet quality standards and deliver against key performance indicators.
Ensuring site objectives are being met and encouraging a high quality of service to attract new service users and key staff.You will be responsible for:
Ensuring all clinical quality reporting and performance measures are sustained and delivered across the hospital including those surrounding NHSE contract monitoring, regulatory and internal frameworks.
Supporting the CSU managers and service lead in ensuring that all safeguarding standards and HR policies are adhered to by staff and take action to remedy concerns in a timely manner
Undertaking audits in line with the requirements of contractual obligations and Elysium's Clinical audit group
Leading day to day operational functioning of the wards, ensuring clinical standards are being met and maintained and take action to address any short-comings
Ensuring records are accurate and in line with GPDR requirements and that any risks related to patient care, are clearly documentedEssential qualifications:
Registered Healthcare professional with current registration post 5 years
At least 3 years working in a CAMHS setting or considerable management experience in an inpatient setting
Evidence of CPD
Evidence of undertaking management training or willingness to complete Elysium Leadership training
Experience of KPIs, KLOE's/CQC role and supervising practice in line with NMC, HCPC requirementsWhat you will get
