CNC Turner

Perm Role, up to £14p/hr DOE, Days, 39hrs per week, Overtime

WAKEFIELD

Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to work on behalf of their client, a Precision Engineering and Manufacturing company based near to Wakefield.

The successful candidate must be Apprentice Trained, or time served. Key requirements for the role include:

-Must be able to Programme CNCs from scratch, both online and offline

-Knowledge of CNC Milling would be advantageous

-Experience with Siemens and/or HAAS controls would be beneficial

-Knowledge of machining a wide variety of metals including exotic

-Machining 1 off pieces up to medium size batches

-Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers and Micrometres

Day to day duties of this role include:

-Programming, setting and operating CNC’s to produce accurate, quality components on time

-Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling

-Managing your work schedule

-Self inspecting all manufactured components

-Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards

You will be contracted to 39hrs per week working Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4.30pm with a 3pm finish on a Friday. Overtime is available including on Saturdays, where you must be able to work at least 1 Saturday per month. The Pay Rate for the role is £14p/hr with Overtime paid at time + ½.
