CNC Turner

Perm Role, £12-£14p/hr DOE, 40hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 25 days holiday

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting an experienced CNC Turner with knowledge of Manual Turning, to work on behalf of their client, a Precision Engineering and Manufacturing firm based in Yeadon, Leeds.

The successful candidate must be Apprentice Trained, or time served. Key requirements for the role include:

-Experienced with XYZ Proturn for an SLX425 Lathe

-Manual Turning – a reasonable skill base in this is essential to the role

-Surface Grinding knowledge is desirable

-Welding knowledge would be beneficial to the role

-Knowledge of machining Stainless and Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Bronze & Plastic

-Machining bespoke small to medium batch size components

-Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers and Micrometres

Day to day duties of this role include:

-Programming, setting and operating CNC’s to produce accurate, quality components on time

-Manual Turning

-Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling

-Managing your work schedule

-Self inspecting all manufactured components

-Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards

You will be contracted to 40hrs per week working Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4.30pm with an 11am finish on a Friday. The Pay Rate for the role is experience dependant ranging from £12p/hr up to £14p/hr. Overtime may be required at times but is not guaranteed.
