Overview:

I am partnered with a small consultancy looking to recruit for 2x Commission Managers to join their business. They have been running for just over 5 years and just successfully won two new contracts in the Midlands area, seeking to then enhance their commercial performance with their respected clients.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the two owners who are more than happy to push the successful candidates through their studies and enhance their careers. What they want in return is someone to give their all and take a chance on them.

Main Responsibilities

The role of Specialist PFI Commission Manager is a crucial role supporting specific client commissions, where approximately 50% of the role will be directly focused on providing PFI contract management support to one of their Public Sector Clients; and the remaining 50% will be spent acting in the capacity of contract performance and compliance supporting a number of their commissions across our UK wide client base as part of the dedicated team.

The post-holder should be based in the Midlands area and able to travel to key locations to work across client sites at least 3 days a week. The balance of the role would be home and office based, with expectation of national travel to visit other designated client sites and also their head office based in West Yorkshire, as required. The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring the PFI and other non-PFI contracts assigned to their role are delivered in compliance with the requirements of the respective contractual obligations, Project Agreements service delivery models, specifications, and all statutory regulations. Your experience within contract management, interrogation, and contractual application of PFI or similar service delivery contracts within an education setting will be fundamental to your ability to deliver the role requirements.

As a specialist PFI consultant team, an important part of our credentials and reputation is our ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the PFI market, PFI contract and stakeholder structures and how to engage and provide technical and commercial advice, support and practical solutions that are contractually focussed and engender positive outcomes for our clients.

You may have gained experience of this through hands-on PFI contract management working for a Local Authority, NHS provider, SPV (Project Co) or FM Service Provider within a PFI contract delivery environment or through a transferable consultant background.

Experienced required

* An industry professional with 5 years’ experience of PFI contract management or equivalent.

* Degree level or equivalent in a relevant field.

* Good oral and written skills.

* Report writing and project management
