Location: Veolia Sheffield – Hybrid working available – office based 2/3 days a week

What will you be doing?
Support the Area Communications Manager, provide general communications support for the contract and assist with cover for other contracts in the region when required. This will involve planning, suggesting campaign and content ideas and putting them into place.
Support the Area Communications Manager to provide day-to-day communication support
Manage the design and development of digital or offline projects
Help to develop and deliver communication and PR strategies to meet contract objectives for Area Communications Managers
Create effective and engaging press and social media content
Support the Area Communications Manager with enquiries
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement
What are we looking for?
An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading service to all internal and external customers.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and keep projects on track and manage expectations
An understanding of the communications mix and content production across multiple formats
Experience dealing with media both proactively and reactively
A clear understanding of social media, social advertising and digital communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
Graphics, filming and video editing skills (willingness and demonstrable ability to learn relevant software) – desirable
Understanding or experience of working with local authorities – desirable
Driving licence and own transport required due to location
