Have you been graded as “Good” or “Outstanding” in your classroom observations?
A Design and Technology post has arisen in an Ofsted graded “Good”, high regarded Secondary School Hemel Hempstead
*** Design Technology Teacher (NQTs considered)

*** Design Technology Teacher – Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale

The successful applicant will be a dynamic and passionate Design Technology Teacher who can combine empathy and compassion with creativity to stimulate their pupils with new and innovative ways to learn. You will have proven experience in achieving good A*-C grades through delivering “Good” and “Outstanding” teaching. You will be confident teaching Resistant Materials and/or Product design to KS4.
The new Design Technology Teacher will join a band of Art and Design Teachers who have achieved a good degree of success over the years. As a school which has had “technology specialist status”, the DT department is blessed with excellent machinery and learning resources to ensure that your classes can excite and invigorate the pupils and continue to hit and exceed benchmarks.
The is a 11-18 mixed, non-selective Secondary with approximately 800 on roll. The School had adopted a curriculum which is leant slightly towards more vocational subjects. You will join a department where your subject is popular and demands and rewards are high.
