Continuous Improvement Engineer
Tamworth Site: Commutable from: Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Atherstone, Burntwood
£40,000 – £45,000 + Training + Overtime + Progression + Private Pension + Holidays
Are you a Continuous Improvement Engineer, looking to join a nationally renowned company, who put improvement and quality at the forefront of their business?
On offer is a fantastic opportunity to help head up the Quality department, who are looking for an individual to continue to implement and drive forward their environmentally conscious approach.

The company specialise in the production of PCB's for a variety of blue chip clients. The clients and contracts are within multiple leading sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Space and many more.

The ideal candidate would be six sigma green belt certified that has worked in a similar environment to PCB production, looking to join a company that is leading the way in their sector.

The Role:

Responsible for supporting the manufacturing teams in value stream improvements, focusing on process reliability and capability
Work closely with the teams throughout all the manufacturing and support areas of the Organisation to help promote a continuous improvement culture
Improve efficiency through analysis and planning of work flow, space requirements and equipment layout
The Person:

Six Sigma Green Belt certified
Be an expert in use and deployment of Lean tools, techniques and methods
Have experience in working effectively under pressure in a demanding manufacturing environment
