Digital and Computing Lecturer

Start Date: September 2022  

Hours: 37  

Salary: up to £36,011 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital and Computing Lecturer at a college in the Cheshire area. The role requirements include delivery high quality and innovative teaching, learning and assessment to learners within the IT department.  

The successful candidate will:  

Skills 

Plan teaching, learning and assessment for college programmes.
Deliver teaching at a consistently good standard to achieve high success rates.
Support students through personal tutoring and parent/carers evening to ensure students reach their full potential.
Take personal and professional responsibility for keeping up to date in subject area.
Have good working knowledge of software development, including knowledge and experience of at least two of the following: C++, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at least one of the following: Computer Networking, Internet of Things(IOT) systems design.
