About Us:
We are looking for an extra special Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to join our friendly, busy team at our YMCA Nursery in the heart of North Stoneham Park, Eastleigh. With bright, spacious rooms and outdoor play areas, the nursery provides plenty of exciting spaces for mini adventures and daily discoveries.
The role of the EYP is to deliver the highest quality of care and education, inspiring children’s development by providing exciting, child-led, play-based activities utilising the outdoors wherever possible.
Early Years Practitioner – The Role:
We are looking for an extra special Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to join our friendly, busy team at our YMCA Nursery in the heart of Augusta Park, East Anton, Andover. With bright, spacious rooms and outdoor play areas, the nursery provides plenty of exciting spaces for mini adventures and daily discoveries.
The role of the EYP is to deliver the highest quality of care and education, inspiring children’s development by providing exciting, child-led, play-based activities utilising the outdoors wherever possible.
– If you can nurture new-borns, get messy with toddlers, and prepare pre-schoolers for the big wide world
– Giggle, hop, paint, climb and show off your best dance moves
– Inspire, stimulate, educate
– Be a bouncing space-bunny one minute, and a cuddle monkey the next
– Then you’re just the right person who’d thrive, and love, working with us!
Early Years Practitioner – You:
– Qualified to Level 3 Childcare or have a willingness to train
– Have an understanding or interest of the development needs of children
– Have basic knowledge of health and safety in addition to safeguarding best practice
– Able to connect with children, co-workers and parents alike; provide stimulating indoor and outdoor activities; complete daily observations on the children in your care; and plan their next developmental steps in line with EYFS

Early Years Practitioner – Benefits:
