Job Description
Client: Working throughout several sectors including commercial, residential, education, the business has seen a significant amount of growth in the last 5 Years. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business expects 2022/2023 to be a similar period of growth. After a successful year they are now looking to increase turnover to £110M, consequently they are looking to expand their operations team. Despite their size, my client are a family owned and run business and this is a trait they pride themselves on with well over 80% of their clients using them on multiple occasions because of the nature of the business.
Role: Electrical Construction Manager – £60,000 + Package
The successful candidate will be working on a 25m (MEP value) Project, Shell & Core + CAT A fit out in the West End.
Role/Responsibilities:
* Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
* Short term programming.
* Health & Safety (RAMS).
* Technical Submissions.
* Preparation/issuing all RFI.
* Sub-contractor coordination.
* Management of commissioning stages
* Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors
* Progress meetings with sub-contractors, professional teams and client
* Weekly site and Progress meetings
The ideal candidate:
* Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of Mechanical services.
* Experience working in the commercial sector
* Experience managing projects to a minimum of £2M within your own discipline
* Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Wates, Galliford Try, Lendlease, MACE etc.
