Currently representing a growing consultancy in Portsmouth that are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team. Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview
Develop scheme designs as required by the Directors, Principal and Senior engineers, using appropriate software.
Assist in the delivery of projects within timescale, budget constraints and quality expectations.
Work with CAD Technicians to produce relevant electrical information.
Attendance at project and design meetings.
Undertake surveys of electrical installations.
Undertake condition surveys and write reports.
Keep all project related documentation in compliance with the Business Management systems, processes and procedures, in particular ISO9001.
Actively engage in CPD to maintain and facilitate personal and career development.
General office duties as requested by the Directors.
Electrical Design Engineer Position Requirements
Qualifications in electrical installations LV and /or HV desirable.
At least 5 years' experience required.
Good all-round technical expertise.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to work as part of a team, building relationships with clients and other discipline design team members.
This role might suit a technical individual with aspirations to develop their career and move into design/project management role.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent team player.
Good communication skills.
Excellent time management and general organisation skills.

Salary £30k to £50k DOE
