Job Description
Are you looking to start a career as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer? I have a new role available for an enthusiastic individual who is swaying towards an electrical engineering career path. This is to work on a site based in Radstock. You are required to be a quick thinker who can assist with solving any problems that may arise.
The opportunity to complete an apprenticeship will be available.
You will assist in all installations and breakdowns ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times. Until fully trained, you will be assisting the existing engineers by, repairing, servicing and maintaining all print machinery.
This is to work on a triple shift basis, and salary will depend on your current competency.
Morning Shift – 6am-1.30pm (Mon-Fri)
Afternoon Shift – 1.30pm – 9.30pm (Mon-Thurs) 1.30pm – 7pm (Fri)
Night Shift – 9.30pm – 6am (Mon-Thurs)
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assist in breakdowns, installations, and servicing of machinery
* Assist with the maintenance of the factory’s and office facilities
* Ensure prompt attention is carried out
* Maintain the site security
* Keep the workshop and stores clean and tidy
* Order and book in required parts
* Complete service records
Requirements:
* Ability to work on your own as well as be a team player
* Good communication skills as you will be liaising with other individuals on the shop floor
* Commitment with ongoing training and development within the company
* Willing to work a triple shift pattern as stated above
* Be technically minded
