Electrical Maintenance Engineer – In House Educational Establishment – Facilities Maintenance – Buildings Around Zones 1-2
My client is an industry leading educational establishment who is actively seeking to expand their in-house maintenance team. Due to this they are seeking an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to look after 4 x buildings working in a large in-house team.
Job Specification:
* Ensuring that routine PPMs are carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists
* Responding to any reactive and planned maintenance tasks throughout the buildings plant room areas – FCUs, AHUs, Pumps, Motors, Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Plumbing repairs, Electrical tasks (Ballasts, Batteries, Small Installs), L8 Water Hygiene Tasks, BMS control set points and compliance checks.
* Ensuring strong communication with clients and customer service skills
* Organising subcontract labour
* Organising quotes and the labour/procurement of materials and parts
* Responsible for Health & Safety, logbooks, risk assessment, permits to work etc.
Salary & Package:
* £40,000.00 Per Annum | Travel card Zones 1-2 | Overtime
* Monday to Friday | 09:00am-17:00pm – 35 Hour Week
* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days
* Training and Overtime

* Previous building maintenance experience
* Always possess a professional attitude and company work wear attire
* Able to produce work of the highest standard and prepared to learn new skills to achieve a quality outcome
* Self-motivated
