I am currently working with my client, in order to find them their next Electrical Project Engineer. They are extremely busy at the moment within data centres and for the right person have a range of work on offer.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Director on the project, you will have day to day support from them on site. The role itself, is 100% on site. The project itself is a data centre, so we are looking for someone with experience in data centres or a skill set that can be completely transferable such as trading floors.
The role itself is for a main contractor, however, they are not specifically looking for someone from such a background, they just require a Electrical Project Engineer who are experienced within data centres. They will need someone who is pro active and confident/comfortable in dealing with design issues, what works from a design prospective and what doesn't etc.
The Role
-Main Contractor
-Electrical Project Engineer, however we are looking for someone who has been exposed to the electrical side of things. There is a full time electrical project manager on site but this little bit of exposure/knowledge will help
-Design savvy
-Technical Savvy
-Client facing meetings
-Proactive, get the job done
-You will have your manager there for constant support, however we are looking for someone who is completely proactive and gets the job done.
