Electrical Site Inspector Job in Manchester, Greater Manchester
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Inspector from the Building Services industry for a part-time Outside of IR35 contract (a couple of days per week) visiting construction sites mainly across the North West and North East of England. Pay rate of up to circa £35 Ltd or Umbrella per hour, or the PAYE equivalent is preferred plus travel expenses.
Working as the successful Electrical Site Inspector from the Building Services industry, sites are mostly in the North West and East but candidates need to be willing to travel to construction sites throughout the UK.
Duties include:
*Review and comment on the contractor Technical Submissions for compliance with the contract specification and design intent
*Site visits to attend the site meetings and inspect the contractors Electrical Installation works
*Prepare monthly reports for each project
*Attend site during testing and commissioning to witness and report on findings
*Review and comment on the contractors Handover documentation
Experience/Qualifications required:
*Relevant qualifications and experience gained in a Building Services consultancy or medium to large Electrical contractor
*An ability to cover both Mechanical and Electrical would be a benefit
