Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who has experience within the water industry. My client is looking for a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for managing the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer's equipment.
Location: Yorkshire – Field based role with on call rota and potential overnight stays
Salary: £38000 – £41000
The Job
Management of customer interaction and communication on site
Installation support
Delivery of client training and support
Pre-sale's Support capacity. You will also need to have the personality and confidence to support the Sales team
After Sales Support
Attend internal and product training academy
Service and Maintenance
Troubleshooting
Repairing electronic and mechanical systems on site
Commissioning of new equipment
Return and close out reports
Demonstrate safety objectives/culture through personal actions
Communicate H&S best practice throughout company both internally and externally
Adopt safe working practices, identify, and mitigate potential Health & Safety risks to your self and others
Be prepared to travel throughout the UK and stay away overnight on occasion as well as happy to travel overseas for training and emergency cover when required
The Person
18th Edition wiring regulations, inspection and testing will also be of huge benefit
NVQ Level 3 or higher
Health & Safety Awareness
Full Driving Licence
CSCS training
Water Hygiene training
City and Guilds 2391 Electrical inspection and testing
Confined Space Training
First Aid at work
Process plant multiskilled mechanical and electrical Service and Maintenance experience
