Job Description
Opportunity to work within the English department at a secondary school in Bury, known for its strong behaviour policies and staff community.
– Full-time English teacher.
– Required after October half term until the end of the academic year, in the first instance.
– Teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE.
– Must hold subject specific qualifications within English.
– Both experienced and newly qualified English teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.
– Pay in line with teaching scale point (£25,714 – £41,604 per annum).
The successful English teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated English lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning. The incoming teacher will be taking on a full teaching timetable alongside full planning and marking responsibilities.
Our partner secondary school is looking for an English teacher who can aid pupils’ attainment alongside providing strong behaviour management.
Our client schools are located across Bury and can be accessed from all surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For candidates who do not have their own transportation, there are several links to public transportation from central Manchester and the areas surrounding Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
